GETTING STARTED: ONBOARDING

Onboarding is a direct, one-on-one coaching experience that will guide you step-by-step through the fundamental movement patterns and exercises, cultivating the confidence to train effectively and injury-free during your training sessions.

OUR SAFE & SURE METHOD

Onboarding is our signature process of bringing new members into the gym. It is the safest and surest method to educate individuals on the facets of weightlifting and strength training.

Two types of onboarding

  • Onboarding for our Coaching/Programming track

  • Onboarding for our Open Gym track (Optional)

In onboarding you can expect to learn everything from rudimentary elements such as: grip, stance, position, where/how to hold the bar, fundamental movements patterns, specific exercises, etc. to more sophisticated skills such as: advanced lifting technique, effective core engagement, program navigation, comprehension of intensity levels, individualized training modifications/strategies, etc.

onboarding for coaching

Includes:

  • 3x/week sessions for 6 sessions total

  • 1 hr instructional sessions - Skill development, movement patterns, muscle engagement, and exercise selection happens here

  • Program development - Your 100% customized plan is created here

 

During our Onboarding for Coaching we collect the data that allows for the creation of your 100% customized program. This is the true meat of our training at the gym and the onboarding process not only allows us to learn more about what exercises/movements are best for you, but also provides an opportunity to pinpoint the gaps in your training that may be holding you back.

Identifying your gaps as well as your strengths, means training can be greatly enhanced by our signature 100% customized approach with effective exercise selection. This is important because not only does it allow your training to produce greater results specific to your goals, but also serves to greatly reduce the risk of injury and keeps the progress coming. 

 

onboarding for open gym

Includes:

  • 1x/week sessions for 4 sessions total

  • 30 min instructional session + 20-30 min practice session 

 

With our Onboarding for Open Gym we primarily show you much of the nuance specific to weightlifting, as well as how to do it effectively and safely. This version provides you with a base knowledge and ability to practice weightlifting with confidence in your form while building the skill of strength.
